Meet Lynn Worsley
Lynn has a background in theatre, speech and drama and has worked in radio, TV and film. She uses this background to her advantage having started an inclusive green business, where the story behind the product’s development is of utmost importance to its success.
Lynn wanted to create a sustainable and profitable business which helped the environment and simultaneously empowers other women. So in 2008 she started All Women Recycling and launched its first green product in 2009 using discarded plastic bottles to create unique gift boxes.

Our Story
All Women Recycling was born from an idea to turn a plastic bottle into a marketable product that could be sold globally, and empower women locally.
We work with women and fair-trade companies around the world, zoos, museums, charities, gift and design stores. It is is paramount to our success to build strong relationships with our partners and customers.
We buy our bottles from local schools, charities and street collectors. Partnering with larger companies over the last few year has enabled us to meet the demand from our client base around the world.
We like to meet women who want to start their own businesses with our products. We are working together towards using singe use plastic, saving it from going to landfill and into our oceans and rivers. We can't save the world but together we can make a difference. To the lives of unskilled women and to our environment!
Local, unemployed women are taught how to create the products, while learning business management, life and sales skills… an exciting journey that currently has 13 ladies working full time!

All Women Recycling strive to raise awareness about local and global environmental concerns through their products, as well as reducing the number of plastic bottles in landfills and decreasing green gas emissions.

Our Goal
All Women Recycling has a goal “Keeping our environment clean one bottle at a time”. A goal that they are certainly meeting… in 2016 alone they upcycled over half a million plastic bottles, which otherwise would have gone to landfill sites.
To start off their year All Women Recycling was awarded a prize at the 2019 Global Business Insight Awards for the Most Innovative Gift Box Manufacturer in South Africa!
